My and Elaine's thoughts and prayers and those of the Owingsville First Church of God are with the Shane Day Family as you say goodbye to one of Sarah's classmates and to a young man who was loved by so many people. Too many of Shane's classmates have left us far too soon. May you be comforted by family, friends and all of those who knew and loved Shane. We are in Michigan at this present time or we would be there to support you through this time. We want you to know that you're being uplifted today and every day.

I thought a lot of Shane he was a good friend an man always smiling and would always speak to you no matter where he saw you. Also went to school with him me an my brother Michael Elliott . He will be missed by many for sure , also heart prayers to his fiancé as they can't be married now I pray God keeps his hand upon her and guides her through this tragic time! I'm currently Workin but after work I am goin to swing by his visitation. Dirty clothes or not Shane didn't care! But I'll be there to give/pay my respects

What does one say when something so tragic happens? It seems that words cannot convey how sorry we are for such a loss and at such a time . I am not related to either family, but met Tammy and Andrew many years ago when he went to school at the First Church of God as a young boy. And therefore I saw Elizabeth and Anthony. What a fine family.
I believe that I can somewhat empathize with your sorry Elizabeth as I lost two brothers many years ago and one of them was a young man and it was sudden and tragic. I do know that God knows your pain and sorrow and only He knows it as you do. He is ever faithful and will help you face each day. I am glad that you have family to hold you up and love on you. Elizabeth my heart cries with you. I am so sorry you have to experience such heartbreak, when you should be having nothing but happiness and love filling it up. I will miss Shane and his beautiful smile. He loved his Elizabeth. I loved to watch him stare at you with love radiating through his eyes. He was so kind and thoughtful. On Friday when he came into the office I was joking with him and he said. I want what she wants. I just want her to be happy. I can't wait til we get the wedding over so we can move on.
