Cathy Richardson

Owner and Associate

Cathy has been instrumental in the funeral home’s remodeling projects over the years. She is also responsible for the funeral home’s brilliant landscaping. Cathy plays a vital part in the funeral home, and is always available to help anyone in their time of need. 

In her spare time, she still manages Richardson Farm and Stables at her home and enjoys watching her thoroughbred horses run in races all over the country. Cathy was married to Paul Howard until his passing in 2017.

She has two children, Ginny, and Paul Ryan, as well as four adored grandchildren; Dylan, Audrey, Lucian and Summerlee.

Virginia R.  Clark

Virginia R. Clark

Co-Owner, Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer and Licensed Insurance Agent

Virginia is the current manager of the funeral home. In addition to her funeral home activities she is a member of the Lions Club and the Owingsville Christian Church. In her spare time she enjoys watching the children show horses, and showing horses herself. She is the proud mother to Dylan, Audrey, Lucian and Summerlee.


Gary Boyd

Licensed Funeral Director and Ordained Minister

Gary's positive attitude and influence around the funeral home is infectious! He is a retired Teacher and former High School basketball coach. He is an assistant pastor of Greater First Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, and enjoys spending time with his wife Beverly, daughters Kayla and Kristen and his grandbaby Aniya.

Crystal Montjoy-Day

Kentucky Licensed Funeral Director and Pre-Need Burial Insurance Agent

Crystal Montjoy Day, is a 1998 graduate of Bath County High School, and is the daughter of Debbie Purvis and Jeff "Buttermilk" Montjoy of Olympia, Kentucky.

She is married to Jesse Day, and is the proud mother of Brianna, Makenna, and Jacob Day. When not at the funeral home, Crystal enjoys working outdoors with her flowers, attending sporting events of her children, and spending time with family.

Crystal joined the funeral home family in March of 2018 and has become a Licensed Funeral Director.


Noah Ward

Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer

Noah, is the son of Matt and Cynthia Ward of Olympia. He is a 2018 graduate of Menifee County High School. He is an Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer and looks forward to serving this community. 


Ernie Sapp

Ernie Sapp

Associate

Ernie Sapp has a history in the funeral business, including returning to our staff. He previously worked with us for 8 years. Ernie was a past Bath County Deputy Sheriff under Sheriff Eddie McCarty past caretaker of The Owingsville Lions Club for 6 years, and has been a member of the Salt Lick Volunteer Fire Department since 1989. 

Aside from working at the funeral home, Ernie is an avid fisherman and enjoys carpentry.

Administrative Assistant

Tina is described by the staff as the glue that holds the funeral home together. She enjoys the outdoors, reading and spending time with her husband Tim, her children Christina and Zak, and her grandchildren.
