Robert Ray Jones

Robert Ray Jones, 63, of Olympia passed away after an extended illness. He was born December 6, 1953 to the late Jackie Young and Edna Jones. He was a chef and a Veteran of the Navy. 

Immediate survivors include his companion Deanna Jones of Florida; his grandmother Miss Clarine Higgins of Sharpsburg; one son Cody (Miranda) Jones of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter Jennifer Jones of Atlanta, Ga; four brothers Anthony Jones of St. Petersburg, Florida, Bruce (Brandy) Jones of Olympia, Adam (Elizabeth) Jones of Mt. Sterling, Tony Young of Sharpsburg; one sister Belinda Harris of Lexington; a sister-in-law Beverly Jones and a brother-in-law Robert Hodge; three grandchildren Carter Jones and Xander and Jada Phelps.

He was preceded in death by one brother James Jones; one sister Elizabeth Renee Hodge and a brother-in-law Donnie Harris.

Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Saturday April 1st at Greater First Baptist Church in Sharpsburg. Funeral Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with the Reverend Shadrick Edmonds and Reverend Gary Boyd officiating.
