So many memories of June, her family, and the store at Harpers. Simple joy of playing outside beside the store until dark would bring us in for a refreshing bottle of "pop!" I know she will be missed. May God give you comfort and strength for the days ahead. Praying for you...Marsha Manley Patrick

Message from Rev. Lowell C. Rice - November 22, 2014 at 09:36 AM

My thoughts and prayers and those of the Owingsville First Church of God are with June's family through this time. In her active years, June and her husband, Kenny, were a vital part of the church and she leaves many good memories that bring a sparkle to the eye and a joy to life. She was a blessing to the church when we had the Christian school and the children loved her as did all of us who worked with her daily. June will be missed.

As I was a child my MOM and DAD,John and Francis Otis spent Many evenings at the store playing croquet. We loved listening to Junes Dad tell about the cowboy movie stars he knew. And movies he had been in.Was so exciting when they came in from Montana. Now about everybody gone.Don't know if anyone runs the store ,but just not the same.Memories from the past.At least we have them.
