With the passing of Ewell Everman, we have lost a truly wonderful person in our Bath County community and in the Owingsville First Church of God. Ewell was a man of faithfulness, commitment and integrity and a man who loved people. His smile, his deameanor, his love of life and his love for the Lord will be foremost in my memory when I remember him. He was friendly, accommodating and caring about the significant things of life. I will always remember the way that he like riding his motorcycle and the "Yahama story" that I will share on Monday is one of my favorites in regard to my friendship with Ewell. I would have loved to keep him with us if he could be healthy but he was looking forward to seeing Charlene, seeing Heaven and seeing Jesus. These things he has now done. Ewell was loved, his life mattered and he will be missed. He fought a good fight, finished the course and kept the faith and now the crown is his. The thoughts and prayers of the Owingsville First Church of God are with the Everman family.
