To the family of Debbie L. Purvis,
I'm very sorry about the loss of your loved one. I wanted to share the scriptural hope that brought me so much comfort when I lost my mother. I hope it helps you also. The Bible shows that God did not intend for humans to suffer and die at any age. (Romans 5:12) It also calls death an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) God promises to resurrect our loved ones onto a cleansed, paradise earth, where we can welcome them back. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11,29) The Bible answers such questions as "Why has God allowed suffering and death in the first place?" Please visit jw.org to find satisfying answers from the Bible, free of charge. I truly hope this brings you comfort.

I extend my sympathy to Debbie's family at this time of loss. It truly breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love. Be assured that God knows your pain and sorrow. May you be comforted by the words of John 5:28,29 which give us the promise of being reunited with those precious ones we have lost. May the God of all comfort supply you the strength needed now and in the days ahead. (Isaiah 12:2)

Misty and Crystal,
I know the loss that your hearts are feeling right now. God blessed you with a great mother for all these years. Remember all the good times that you had together. Those memories are what will get you through the hardest moments. Time will ease the pain, it will never go away entirely. There will always be those days that you want to show or tell her something. Just keep in mind that she will be in a place where she will no longer be in pain and will walk walk freely among family and friends that have passed before her. God bless you ladies. Love you Misty!
