I am so sorry that I was not able to be here for the visitation and funeral of Bonnie. As you know, I did bring Mom to visit and we were so pleased that she got to come home from the nursing home and enjoy her view of her farm, cattle, and the birds, etc. We loved her and will surely miss her. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sonny,
I just learned about Bonnie, and I am so sorry (and stunned). I'm also sorry to have missed the visitation and funeral, but I just didn't know. I spoke with Tom Byron a couple of weeks ago after I had directed him to you as a source of Nancy Lou's phone number, and he was under the impression that both of you were fine. I assume Bonnie's death was sudden.
Again I apologize for not being with your family at the visitation and funeral. I'll call you soon.
