Donna Sue Purvis Jamison

Donna Sue Purvis Jamison, 54, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born July 13, 1962 to the late Eugene and Edna Bell Purvis. She was a proud wife to Christopher Arnold Jamison and a doting mother and grandmother to her two daughters Rachel Annette Ingram (Bobby Neal) Vance and Christa Rayann Jamison and her granddaughter Bella Grace Vance.

She was a retired Paramedic and a member of both the Owingsville First Church of God and the Owingsville Christian Church splitting her time equally between the two. She was a member of the Supported Living Council through Pathways, a member of the Owingsville Kiwanis Club and a founding member of the Owingsville Volunteer Fire Department's Women's Auxillary. For many years she organized and participated in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk in Bath County.

In addition to her immediate family she is survived by a brother Kenny (Missy) Purvis; two sisters Alma Jean Purvis (David) Kline and Debby Kay Purvis (Gene) Trent and a host of close friends and neighbors.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Owingsville First Church of God with the Reverend Lowell Rice, Reverend Sean Bailey, and Reverend Alton Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
