Marion A. Jones

Marion A. Jones born on June 17, 1936 to the late James H. Jones and Leona Jones passed away on January 18, 2017.

He was retired from the Army and the Army Reserves. He also retired from General Electric Company.

He leaves to cherish his memory a lifetime loving companion Carol Jones.

He is survived by three sons DeAngelo (Portia) Jones of Alabama, DeMarrio  (Shadonna) Jones of Georgia , and Terrence Chastine of Washington DC,  two daughters DeCarol  Jones of Lexington and Marie Chastine of Washington DC, three brothers James (Rudene) Jones, Raymond (Barbara) Jones and David Jones. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.

Friends may visit Monday, January 23, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 pm at First Greater Baptist Church in Sharpsburg, Kentucky.

Funeral Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at First Greater Baptist Church in Sharpsburg , Kentucky.

Officiating the funeral will be Reverend Gary Boyd.

Interment in the Longview Cemetery.
