Inez (Vance) Otis

Inez Vance Otis, age 90, of Marion, Indiana passed away on February 18, 2024. She was born on February 18, 1934 in Owingsville, Kentucky to the late Clark Vance and Mosseletta Salyer. Inez worked 30 years for Foster Forbes Glass Factory as an inspector before retiring. She enjoyed spending time at home and crocheting. Going to a good rummage sale was something she loved to do. She also enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer and watching Netflix. Inez loved her grandchildren. Spending time with them was precious to her and she loved every minute. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed dearly by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by one son, Michael Otis; one daughter, Marilyn Cotton; one sister, Betty Belcher; four grandchildren, Nick Otis, Sierra Otis, Megan Manes (Andy), and Matthew Cotton; four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Ledford, Woodford, Wheeler, Crit and Herman Vance and three sisters, Ola Dieringer, Alva Staton and Dewy McGlothin and one grandson, Eric Otis.
