Bonnie McDonald Obituary

Bonnie Lou (Means) McDonald age 70 of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away March 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She was born November 23, 1953 to the late Asa Means Sr. and Mattie Anderson Means.
She was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church of Jeffersonville and a retired housekeeper for Scottsville Medical Center.
She loved and served the Lord most of her life. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren and singing and
playing guitar. She was a kind woman who loved everyone and never learned how to say no. She was always ready to help those in need.  


She is survived by 2 sons, Billy Shane Barnes and Jeremy Wade Barnes (Tina) both of Jeffersonville and 1 daughter Tina Renee Howell (Donnie) also 
of Jeffersonville. 6 grandchildren, Corey Graham, Natasha Cassidy, Kristen Graham, Madison Wells (Anthony), Meagan Barnes, and Lucas Barnes.
3 great grandchildren, Brooklyn Wells, Madalyn Wells, Donavan Graham; 3 brothers, John Means Sr. (Patty), Asa Means Jr. (Sandra) and Ronald Means Sr. (Regina) all of Scottsville, Ky.  4 sisters, Ruth Clouse of Jeffersonville; Mary Brooks (Ed) of Means, KY; Elaine Prince (Jim) and Sue Bickers (Kenton) of Jeffersonville, Ky. 


She was preceded in death by her parents, Asa Sr. and Mattie Anderson Means, maternal grandparents Howard and Virgie Watkins Anderson, paternal grandparents John Baschum and
Sarah Bryant Means, 4 brothers, Harry Carter Means, Carl Nelson Means, James Robert Means and Sidney Clay Means. 3 sisters, Ruby Means Shanks, Nancy Clara Means and Linda Jane Means.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Means officiating. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery.
