Anthony Hart Tackett, age 6, gained his angel wings on Friday, February 2 after a long, hard fought battle. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 29, 2017 the son of the late James Michael Tackett and Tessa Lea Hart.
Anthony was a happy child with a loving heart and a smile that could light up the room. Despite his illness, he had a lot of personality and things he enjoyed doing. He loved to watch westerns with his pop pop. Anthony enjoyed spending time with his favorite aunt, Toni and snuggles with his mommy and grandma. Swimming, being outdoors and playing monsters were also some of his favorites. He was known to get into mischief from time to time. Anthony liked to flirt with the nurses and was loved by all of his medical staff. He loved his little sister, Addison and just like a good big brother, he would allow her to torment him at times. Anthony was a special boy that touched the hearts of many during his short time here on earth. He was a fighter and a hero. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is healed now, walking in heaven with his family that went on before him.
He is survived by his mother, Tessa Lea Hart; his siblings, Donovan Tackett, Eli Tackett, Mikey Tackett, Yzzabella Tackett, Carson Tackett and Addison Hart; his maternal grandparents, Tony and Tena Hart; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Sheryl Tackett; his aunt, Toni Hart Gorrell and her husband, John; his uncle, Patrick Tackett; his great grandmother, Mary Hart; his great grandparents, Bob and Connie Ballard; several aunts, uncles and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad, James Michael Tackett and his great grandfather, Charles Hart.
