Woodrow Clay Arnett, age 40, passed away on May 21 in Montgomery County. He was born on April 20, 1982 in Montgomery County to the late Bobby Arnett and Winston Jones Arnett. Woody was employed by Pro Mark and enjoyed his job. He loved to play the guitar and do wood working. Woody was talented in so many ways. There wasn't much that he couldn't do. He loved his family so much. Spending time with them was very important to him. His daughter, Sadie, was his whole world. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and was good with children. Woody had a fun loving personality and a kind loving heart. His presence will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Krystal Kirby Arnett; his precious daughter, Sadie Arnett; one brother, Christopher Earl Arnett and his wife, Heather; two brothers in law, John Kirby and his wife, Glenna; Kenneth Ray Kirby and his wife Angelica; three sisters in law, Ethel Kirby, Tempie Burton and her husband, Randy; Amber Cornett and her husband, Thomas; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Earl Arnett Jr. and his father and mother in law, Kenneth and Brenda Kirby.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with burial following in the Kirby Family Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Junior Pelfrey, Chris Arnett, Travis Hurst, Brandon Everman, John Kirby, Randy Burton, Ray Kirby and Thomas Cornett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Webb, Drew Mosley and Reise Collins.
