Wilma Joyce Whitt, age 82, of Owingsville, passed away at the Life Care Center in Morehead on December 21. She was born in Montgomery County on December 11, 1936 to the late Ed Thompson and Anna Mae Spence Thompson. She worked many years at A.O. Smith in Mt. Sterling and was also a homemaker. She was a kind, loving woman and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Devin King of Owingsville and Sherry Whitt; One sister, Geraldine Thompson of Florida; Four great grandchildren, Kinleigh Harris, Patrick Houston, Gabe Houston and Savannah Whitt.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Anna Mae Thompson; her husband, Oscar Whitt Jr. One son, David Bradley Whitt; Two daughters, Tamara King and Debra Whitt; Four brothers, Henry Dee Thompson, Clell Thompson, Roger Dale Thompson and Jr. Thompson; Two sisters, Polly Thompson and Francis Laux.
Private Services are being held by the family.
