William David Short

William David Short, age 45, of Owingsville, passed away on Friday, August 13 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born on December 22, 1975 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to William "Willie" Short and Shirley Stiddom Short. David was a factory worker and a farmer. He loved his dogs and going on drives through the country. David worked many hours but loved to go out to eat and spend time with his friends whenever he could. He loved his family and adored his sweet mother. His smile, kind heart and helping hands will be missed by all that loved him. May they cherish the memories they have of him.

David is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Stiddom Short; one sister, Libby Gose and her husband, Kenny; one niece, Elizabeth Gose (Kevin); two nephews, Gage Gose and William Nicholas Gose (Katelin); two great nieces, Savannah Gose and Andrea Gose; His best friend, Steve Hodges; a host of cousins, aunts and uncles. 

He was preceded in death by his father, William "Willie" Short.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 17 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Short family cemetery.
