Wayne Weaver, age 80, of Sharpsburg, passed away at his residence on January 6, 2026. He was born on August 6, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Frank Weaver and Violet Straw Weaver. Wayne worked as a self employed painter for many years. He enjoyed playing basketball, watching tv and going to ball games. Wayne loved to talk about politics and enjoyed a good debate. He took pride in mowing and tending to his yard. Wayne was a very simple man and loved the simple life. He loved his family and spending time with them. His presence will be missed dearly.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Patricia Shrout Weaver; one son, Brad Weaver; one daughter, Allison Robinson and her husband, Jimmy Neal; one brother, Phil Weaver; four grandchildren, Presleigh Robinson, Chase Robinson, Carson Reynolds and Kaylee Weaver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Hammons.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Johnny Baber.
Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andy Hogge, Scott Hogge, Mike Hogge, Chase Robinson, Carson Reynolds and George Garrett.
