Virginia Lee (Vice) McVey, age 95, of Ohio, peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Arizona Vice; her beloved husband, Irvin McVey; her grandson, John Charles Hill; and all of her siblings, Herbert Vice, Virgil Vice, Helen (Vice) Phillips, Ray Vice, Roger Vice, Jouette Vice, James Vice, and Betty (Vice) Copher.
Virginia was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters: Sue Ann Hill and her husband Robert Hill; Kathy Lee Wilson and her husband Daniel Wilson; and Rhonda Elaine Schuster and her husband David Schuster.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren: Katherine (Hill) Bingaman and her husband Brent Bingaman; Steven Hill and his wife Amanda; Bethany (Wilson) Hills and her husband Nathaniel Hills; Lindsey (Wilson) Horrigan and her husband Ben Horrigan; Robert Schuster and his wife Emily; and Rebecca (Schuster) Jackson and her husband James Jackson. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.
Virginia dedicated her life to her home and family as a devoted housewife and mother. In her younger years, she sang alongside her siblings at her childhood church, a reflection of her faith and love for worship. She enjoyed reading and treasured having her family close by. She was deeply loved by her entire family and will be remembered for her quiet strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion.
A service will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Owingsville, Kentucky, on March 4 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Owingsville Cemetery.
Her life was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will be lovingly carried in the hearts of her family forever.
