Vance Spickard, age 66, passed away Tuesday, December 14 at his residence. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on November 18, 1955 to the late Will Ratcliffe and Jean Spickard Ratcliffe. Vance enjoyed cooking and loved to watch cooking shows. He also enjoyed watching scary movies and the ID channel. Vance loved to go bowling and playing pool. He had a good heart and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Letha Spickard; two sons, Scottie Wayne Bales and William Bales of Lexington; three daughters, Sherry Fields, Kristina Bales and Melissa Bales, all of Lexington; one brother, Keith Ratcliffe of Lexington; one sister, Debra Spickard Davis (Eddie) of Lancaster; a special aunt, Sandy Fry of Georgetown; several grandchildren
Visitation will be Friday, December 17 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
