Timothy "Bo" Gillen

Timothy "Bo" Gillen, age 54, passed away August 14 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1966 in Lexington, KY to James Gillen and Wilma Carpenter Gillen. He loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed riding go karts, was an avid sports fan and loved Nascar. Bo loved to listen to Hank Williams Jr. Family was so important to him. He loved his children with everything in him and was very protective of them. His favorite thing was to take pictures with and of his children. These are memories that will be cherished forever. Bo was loved by so many and will be dearly missed here on earth. May his memory live on forever in the hearts of those that love him. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Wilma Carpenter Gillen; one son, Justin Gillen; two daughters, Halyn Gillen and Eryn Gillen; two brothers, James Gillen and Michael (Martie) Gillen; the mother of his children, Robyn McKenney; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family also survive. 

He is preceded in death by his father, James Gillen.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home with burial following in the Carpenter Cemetery.

Reverend Chris Copher will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made on burial expenses at the Richardson Funeral Home.
