Tammy Wilson, age 59, passed away on Saturday, November 18. She was born on February 11, 1964 in Montgomery County to Janice Little and the late Charles Little. Tammy was a member of the Northside Church of God and adored her church family. She worked as a caregiver to many throughout her life as a CNA and private care. Tammy was a wonderful mother to her children and many others. Cooking for her family was something that brought her much happiness. She loved to be surrounded by them and to be able to play with her grandchildren. Tammy enjoyed playing the piano and many card nights with friends. She was a lover of all animals, especially her dogs, Benji and Gracie. Tammy brought joy and laughter to her family and friends. She was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. Her kindness and loving ways will be missed by all those she leaves behind. May the family forever cherish the wonderful memories they have of her and continue to share the stories to keep her memory alive.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Kevin Wilson; her mother, Janice Little; one son, John Wilson and his wife, Erica; two daughters, Cassie Carter and her husband, Justin; Amanda Baber and her husband, Caleb; one brother, Jason Little; one sister, Charlotte Little (Jack Butler); four grandchildren, Hayden Carter, Savannah Carter, Grant Wilson and Hayes Wilson ;her mother in law, Carol Williams; one sister in law, Regina Warner; a special niece, Oddie Gibson; a special nephew, Jason Little Jr.; a special cousin, Cindy Charles and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Little.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Crouch and Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Caleb Baber, Justin Carter, Hayden Carter, Jason Little Jr., Jack Butler and Matthew Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arl Little and Rosemary Thomas.
