Tammy Rothwell Back, age 63 of Olympia, passed away on December 7 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Owingsville. She was born on February 5, 1959 in Middletown, Ohio to the late William Rothwell Jr. and Alma Elam Rothwell. Tammy loved the Wizard of Oz, watching mysteries and ghost encounter shows. She loved to play the guitar, singing and wrote several of her own songs. Bluegrass music was her favorite. Tammy loved to attend church and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Writing letters to Jesus and prayer request were very important to her. She loved her children and enjoyed cooking for them. Spending time with her granddaughter, Daisy, was something she always looked forward to. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her family will miss her and will forever cherish the memories they have of her.
She is survived by one son, Joshua Back; one daughter, Angela Mollett; an aunt, Cynthia "Pee Wee" Rothwell Walton; two grandchildren, Daisy Back and Taylor Tollson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Back Sr.; one daughter, Alisha Danielle Back; three brothers, William Rothwell III, Howard Rothwell, Steve Rothwell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with burial following in the Back Cemetery.
