Steven Jones Jr.

Steven Jones Jr., age 71 of Owingsville, passed away on Saturday, August 31 at Fountain Circle Nursing Home in Winchester, Kentucky. He was born the son of the late Steven Jones and Frances Carpenter Jones on September 11, 1952 in Owingsville, Kentucky. 

Steven was a truck driver for most of his life, traveling all over the United States. He was a hard worker and enjoyed farming. Watching sports on tv was something he loved. Football was a favorite and he was an avid UK fan. Steven loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those he leaves behind.

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Jennifer Patrick and her husband, Bobby; Stephanie Crabtree and her husband, Will; one sister, Judy McIntosh (Charlie); a special friend, Sue Ison; seven grandchildren, Kylie Dennis (Jon), Emily Mason, Devin Stuart (Riley), Karlie Patrick, Madeline Patrick, McKinley Patrick, Colten Jones; four great grandchildren, Harper and Maddox Dennis; Archer and Rhodes Mason

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Kendall Springs Cemetery.
