Sandra (Karrick) Cecil

Sandra Karrick Cecil, age 56, of Owingsville, passed away at her residence on Thursday March 21. She was born in Mt. Sterling on August 12, 1962 to  Don Karrick and Pauline Hale Karrick. Sandra was a social butterfly, who loved to talk with everyone and was the sweetest lady ever. She loved to camp and enjoy the outdoors. Sandra loved her parents, her children and her grandchildren. She was proud of the two sons she raised. She was a member of the Owinsville Christian Church and adored her church family. She will be greatly missed by all the loved her. 

She is survived by her husband, Greg Cecil of Owingsville; Two sons, Donnie (Jessica) Shrout of Owingsville and Robbie (Laura) Shrout of Monticello; Her mother, Pauline Karrick of Owingsville; One sister, Paulette Howard of Owingsville; Five grandchildren, Emma Shrout, Jaxon Shrout, Landon Shrout, Rileigh Shrout and Kinleigh Shrout; a brother-in-law Brent (Kim) Cecil of Somerset; Two nieces, Mahala Cecil and Karricka Howard; Three nephews, J.D. Howard, Justin Harris and Noah Cecil; A host of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Karrick and a niece, Angel Howard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 23 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Owingsville Christian Church.

Funeral services will be Sunday March 24 at 3:00 p.m.  with burial following in the Owingsville Cemetery.

Reverend Sean Bailey and Reverend Lowell Rice will be officiating.
