Mrs. Rosemary Farris, age 90, passed away Monday morning at Saint Claire Healthcare in Morehead.
She was born September 22, 1930 in French Lick Indiana, to the late John and Effie Howard Hueston. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Farris, a daughter Wuanda Richards, and son-in-law Bobby; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Kendrick and husband Neil, four grandchildren; Nathan Kendrick and wife Jacklyn, Joshua Kendrick, Stephen Richards and Leanne Easton and husband Shawn. Also ten great-grandchildren survive.
Rosemary was of the Christian faith having been a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed talking on the phone to her friends, and was known to keep an immaculate home. The family describes her as a wonderful, loving mom, who could cook exceptionally well, especially her chicken and dumplings and her roast.
Private services will be conducted in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with the Reverend Bush Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
