Paulette Leigh

Paulette Leigh, age 73 of Owingsville, made heaven her home on September 13. She was born on July 30, 1949 in Alton, Illinois to the late Edgar Heigtman and Mabel Christine Hollis. Paulette married her husband, Bob Leigh, on January 16, 1968. She worked at Bath Manufacturing and KDMK for several years. Her favorite job was caring for her family. She supported them in everything they did. She was a great cook and loved to prepare big meals for them every night. Paulette was a member of the Northside Church of God where she was the Sunday School Superintendent for many years. She loved her church family and serving the Lord. Paulette was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and a dear friend. She will be missed dearly by those she leaves behind.

She in survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Leigh; one daughter, Christie Leigh; one son, Michael Leigh; four sisters, Marilyn Kay Huff, Susan Goldsmith, Pam Thompson, Phyllis Cornwell; one granddaughter, Melina Grace Leigh; a host of family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sonny and Kenny Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Kenny Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Virginia Cemetery.
