Pamela Baker, age 61, passed away at her residence on January 26. She was born in Montgomery County on August 6, 1961 to the late Hubert Rogers and Norma Kennett Rogers. Pamela was a fun loving woman with a wonderful personality. She loved her trips to Walmart and never met a stranger. She enjoyed working puzzles in her spare time. Spending time with her grandchildren was everything to her. She enjoyed taking them to the park, fishing and just being around them. Pamela was a positive, encouraging woman that could always make you feel special and good about yourself. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend that will be missed dearly by those she leaves behind. May they cherish the laughter, the good times and the fond memories they have with her.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Baker; three loving daughters, Melissa Baxter (Jamie), Pamela Baker (Duck Charles) and Stephanie Alvarado (Gustavo); four brothers, Allen Rogers, Roy Rogers, Timothy Rogers and Patrick Rogers; three sisters, Margaret Maldonado, Jennifer Tapp and Kimberly Rogers; six wonderful grandchildren, Skyla Brooke Charles, Tyler Lee Charles, Malcolm Joseph Alvarado, Landon Daniel Alvarado, Memphis Keith Baxter and Rebecca Wynn Baxter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Norman David Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
