Ms. Oleada McIntosh, age 73, of Winchester, formally of Blevins Valley passed away Monday at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester. She was born in Menifee County on July 16, 1948 to the late Alvin Spencer and Nina Bailey Spencer. Her greatest blessings were her children and her grandchildren. She loved to spend time at home with her family. Writing letters to her sisters was also something she enjoyed. It made her day to receive mail from them. She was a kind, caring woman with a loving heart. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth McIntosh and his wife, Audra and Robert McIntosh and his wife, Tessa; one brother, Darryl Spencer; two sisters, Lucy Spencer and Lois Anderson and her husband, Willard; seven grandchildren, Elexus McIntosh, Brittany McIntosh, Kenneth McIntosh II, Jenna McIntosh, Lindsay McIntosh, Robbie McIntosh and Brice McIntosh; two great grandchildren, Wyatt McIntosh and James Hatton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Adron, Manuel, Lester, Delbert and Norman Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home in Owingsville.
Funeral services will begin in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Scott Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Benson, Craig, Langworthy Cemetery in Suddith.
Pallbearers will be Braxton Poore, Larry Huff, Christian Huff, Matt Spears, Adam Matthews and Johnny Huff.
