Nona Ellen Compton

Nona Ellen Compton, 77, of Means KY, passed away in the early hours Wednesday October 08, 2025 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care. She was born March 17, 1948 to the late Joe and Martha Sapp. She was married to the late Virgil Lee Compton.

She is survived by 2 sons, Christopher Lee Compton and Rusty Lee (Teawanda) Compton, 1 daughter, Donna Joyce (Timothy Curtis) Compton, and 1 sister, Martha McCarty. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, Shelby Saylor, Mason Compton, Anthony Compton, Kadien Compton, Nicholas Compton, Renee Henderson, Michelle Staton, Dudley Willoughby, Rusty Compton Jr., Samantha White, Jacob Compton, Dakota Compton, and 24 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death her husband, Virgil Lee Compton, and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 09 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Kenny Crouch officiating.

Burial to follow in the Davis Cemetery.
