Nellie (Buckler) Gray

Mrs. Nellie Buckler Gray, 85, of Owingsville passed Saturday morning, surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker/caregiver for many. Nellie was a kind lady with a loving heart. She will be missed dearly. 

She was born to the late Hanse and Rosa Carpenter Buckler on December 18, 1935 in Bath County, Kentucky. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gray, one brother; Cleaver Buckler three sisters; Francis Vice, Clara Hawkins and Nora Lee Reed.

Nellie is survived by one daughter, Helen (Gary)  Staton and four sons; Larry (Cleo) Gray, Billy (Teeny) Gray Jr., Ricky Gray and Jimmy Gray; four grandchildren, Jennifer Lambert, Todd Staton, Michael Gray and Tyler Gray; four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Owingsville Cemetery. Reverend Randy Hawkins will be officiating.
