Nancy Chandler, age 70 of Sharpsburg, passed away on October 15 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Center. She was born in Bath County on December 23, 1953 to the late Robert Jones and Ruby Sexton Jones. Nancy worked at Jockey, Inc., and also as a CNA before deciding to stay at home to care for her family. Family was very important to her and she loved her visits and calls. She enjoyed watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel and Judge Judy. Nancy loved her great granddaughter, Everly. She also loved her favorite dog, Bandit. Nancy was a kind lady with a loving heart. Her family will miss her dearly but find peace in knowing that she is no longer suffering. May they always cherish the memories they have.
She is survived by one daughter, Danita Crouch; one brother, Larry Jones (Judy); three sisters, Deborah Crouch, Donna Duvall, and Barbara Golden; one granddaughter, Whitney McCormick (William) and one great granddaughter, Everly McCormick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Chandler; one son, Rob Chandler; two brothers, Paul Jones and Doug Jones; one sister, Alice Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home in Owingsville. Reverend Jim Crouch will be officiating.
