Mystie Jo (Thompson) Sexton

Mystie Jo Thompson Sexton, age 32, passed away on May 8. She was born in Brookesville, Florida on October 11, 1989 to Kenneth Allen Thompson Sr. and Patricia Moore Mathis. Mystie enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. She loved her children and enjoyed every minute being their mom. Spending time with her family was so important to her and she loved to be with them. Mystie loved music and riding horses. She loved her job at CTI, her coworkers and joking around with them.  This small town community was home to her and she loved it. Mystie was a free spirit with a kind soul, loving heart and a beautiful smile. She will be missed so much by all those that knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her ex husband, Codie Sexton; her parents, Kenneth Allen Thompson Sr. and Patricia Moore Mathis (Johnny); three sons, Codie Eli Sexton Jr., Caleb Eli Sexton and Kaden Eli Sexton; one daughter, Hailey Ann Sexton; five brothers, Zacariah Wilson, Kenneth Thompson Jr., Kyle Harburg, Robert Sexton and Mac Sexton; four sisters, Tabatha Wilson, Crystal Thompson, Samantha Sexton and Traci Sexton; Her mother in law, Mary Sexton; a special friend, Erica Chapman; several aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father in law, Troy Sexton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Hunt and Reverend Keith Willoughby officiating. Burial will follow in the Sexton Cemetery in Salt Lick, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Mac Sexton, Bobby Sexton, Kyle Harburg, Johnny Mathis, Jimmy Dale Warren and Joey Staton.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Samantha Sexton.
