Michael Brooks Price

Michael Brooks Price, age 31, of Owingsville, passed away on January 21 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born on July 8, 1993 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to Phillip Price and Paula Hatton Pritchard. Mikey loved to go fishing and be outdoors. When he couldn't be fishing, he enjoyed gaming and listening to music. Spending time with family was very important to him. He always looked forward to family gatherings. Mikey had a kind heart and a fun personality. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

He is survived by his mother, Paula Pritchard and step father, Corey Pritchard; his father, Phillip Price and step mother, Brenda Price;  maternal grandmother, Frances Pergrem; paternal grandmother, Freda Price; five brothers, Brandon Price, Ricky Byrd, Dustin Price, Phillip Price, Taylor Hatton (Carolina); four sisters, Destiny Price, Holly Compton (Mason), Sierra Frederick (Bryan), Jodiann Hambrick; three stepbrothers, James Michael Johnson, Christopher Ray Johnson, and Gregory Scott Johnson; three uncles, Mike Guffey, Robert Price (Freda Lynn), Bryan Price (Sherry); five aunts, Terri Bussell, Kristine Helton, Brenda Hall, Linda Hatton and Oddie Snowden; four nephews, Bryson Halcomb, Jackson Compton, Kayden Gilvin and Colt Compton; one niece, Wrynlee Price; a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Phillip Price Sr. and Linda Baker; his maternal grandfather, Paul Lapeer and his maternal step grandfather, Thomas Pergrem.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Richardson Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Caldwell officiating, Burial will follow in the Carpenter Cemetery. 

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Price, Corey Pritchard, Taylor Hatton, John Berry, Robert Allen Price, Phillip Price, Zachary Byrd and Mason Compton.
