Meda Mae (Jones) Robinson

Meda Mae Jones Robinson passed away at her home in Salt Lick, Kentucky on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1924 to the late Dee and Ida Jones. Meda was a social butterfly. She loved people and she loved talking to them. She worked most of her life as a cashier in retail stores and every child who came through her line was met with a smile and a sucker. Store patrons skipped empty checkout lines to stand in her line and get the chance to chat with her. 

She is survived by one daughter Jo Ann Johnson of Salt Lick, Ky.  and one sister Lucille Heath of Owingsville, Ky. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of adopted family. Meda is preceded in death by her husband Elbert “Pete” Robinson of 66 years, her son-in-law Roger Johnson and her parents Dee and Ida Jones.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Owingsville Cemetery following the funeral.
