Mary Beth Hughes, age 52 of Owingsville, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling on Saturday, November 25. She was born on April 3, 1971 in Lexington, Kentucky to Billy Hughes and Judy Razor Hughes. Mary Beth was a member of Reynoldsville Christian Church. She was a certified lash tech for many years and recently worked at Heather and Co. in Mt. Sterling. Mary Beth worked as an EMT for many years and loved that line of work. Her caring and compassionate ways made her very good at her job. She also volunteered as a firefighter in Owingsville and Bethel for several years. Mary Beth loved to help others however she could. She enjoyed crafting, working on her house and loved her truck. As a young girl she learned to play the piano and continued to have a love for music. Being a mother and a grandmother was what she was most proud of. She loved her children and grandchildren with all she had and was always bragging on them. You could tell how proud she was of them all. She also loved her dog, Titan. Mary Beth had a loving, kind heart and will be missed by all she leaves behind.
She is survived by her parents, Billy and Judy Hughes; two sons, Aaron Bealert and his wife, Krista; Nathan Bealert and his wife, Crista; three sisters, Anissa Henson, Leslie Hughes and Micha Gehring; two granddaughters, Aleeya and Arya Bealert.
