Mrs. Marilyn Maze, age 68 of Owingsville, passed away Thursday October 14, 2021. She was born on September 18th 1953, to the late Joye and Bertha Maschino. Marilyn was a teacher's aide for special needs children, worked at Nestle, The Kountry Kettle, and Sherrie's Pizza House. She would say her most important job was taking care of her family. Her family was her life. She had a way of making you feel like you were her own and you belonged, no matter what. She lived a simple life and found happiness in fishing with her family, gardening, watching her "shows," crafting, singing, and reminiscing with friends. Marilyn always had a listening ear, a hand to hold, and a hug to give. Marilyn's delight in the victories of others was genuine. She also believed every dark cloud had a silver lining and she always found hope. She was and will remain a ray of sunshine.
Marilyn is survived by one daughter, Shanna Hobbs (Brent) of Owingsville; two sons Brandon Maze (Donna) of Winchester and Jacob Maze (Brittany) of Peoria Illinois.
