B. Marcie Purvis, age 62, of Owingsville passed away on Wednesday December 24, 2025 in her home. Marcie was born December 28, 1962 to the late Early Ray Purvis and late Bonnie Parker. Marcie enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida. She spent most of her life taking care of others, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was known for her constant laughter, amazing cooking, and love of shopping. Marcie will be missed by many friends and family.
Marcie is survived by 2 daughters, Chrissy Lee Goode of Morehead and Autumn Paige Purvis of Owingsville, 4 brothers, Steven Earl (Dorothy) Purvis of Mt. Sterling, Thomas Estill (Carolyn) Purvis of Mt. Sterling, Larry Mitchell (Niabari Licia) McCarty of Mt. Sterling, and Larry Dale Parker of Louisville, 1 sister, Jennifer Parker of Louisville,a very special niece, Brittany Terrell, 7 grandchildren, Asia Stewart, Cameron Puckett, Blade Walters, Presleigh Walters, Addison Adkins, Kenzleigh Adkins, and Clayton Adkins, 2 great-grandchildren, Baylee Stewart and Addy Stewart, and a special friend, Pam Purvis.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Marcie’s care givers; Polly Shepard, Jessica Charles, and Felicia Ross.
Visitation is held at Richardson Funeral Home on Monday December 29, 2025 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home on Tuesday December 30, 2025 beginning at 12 p.m. with Pastor Moose Stump presiding and Pastor Mike Ray speaking.
Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.
