Madison Barnett Jr. passed away on February 16, 2025 at St. Claire Hospital in Morehead, Kentucky. He was born on January 16, 1954 to the late Madison Barnett Sr. and Evie Clemons Barnett in Breathitt County. Madison worked for 25 years at RR Dawson Bridge Company before retiring. After retiring, he worked at KDMK for 10 years. He was a very hardworking man and always provided for his family. Madison always saw the best in people and would give them a chance. He was always present for the ones he loved and was there for them no matter what. Fishing and playing the guitar was two of his favorite things but what he enjoyed the most was spoiling his grandchildren. He enjoyed gospel and bluegrass music, watching Fox news, westerns and was a proud Trump supporter. When he was able he loved to have biscuit and gravy from Hardee's and coffee from McDonald's. He loved coffee and donuts at home. Madison will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
