Lori Bashford, age 53, of Sharpsburg, passed away on March 1, 2025 at St. Joseph Main in Lexington. She was born on August 27, 1971 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late Roy Russell Bashford and Viola Jean Treadway Bashford. Lori loved to be outdoors. She enjoyed going fishing, camping and demolition derbies. Lori had an easy going personality and loved to talk on the phone. Her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy. She loved her family and spending time with them. Lori had a kind heart and would help anyone she could. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two sisters, Crystal Perkins and Rebecca Brewer; two nieces, Ashley Mitchell (Scottie Davis) and Jessica Myers (Gavin); one nephew, Anthony Mitchell (Candice); a special aunt, Nettie Treadway Auxier; a special cousin, Kathy Clark; several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Randy Treadway Bashford.
Visitation will take place on March 4 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will take place on March 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Longview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Scottie Clark, Robert Clark, Anthony Mitchell, Scottie Davis, Aaron Snapp, Gavin Myers, Dustin Cornwell and Timmy Treadway.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Clark, Ivey Cornwell, Skylar Cornwell, Kiley Davis, Ashley Mitchell and Jessica Myers.
