Linda Craig Obituary

Mrs. Linda Craig, 76, of Owingsville passed away Tuesday, at UK Healthcare, in Lexington. Linda was born on December 6, 1944 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late John D. Toy and Eula Mae Withrow. She was a homemaker that loved to cook and care for her family. She also enjoyed working in her flowers, decorating around her house and camping. She was a Camp Ground Host for many years at Zilpo and Twin Knobs campgrounds. Linda was a member of the Slate Valley Christian Church. She was a kind, loving person who adored her family and grandchildren. She will be so missed by them all. 

Linda is survived by her husband, Billy O. Craig; one son, Bill Craig and his wife, Kristie; two daughters, Carol Richards and her husband, John and Pasty Clark and her husband, Steve; three sisters, Verna Lee Reynolds, Jeanette Walton and her husband, Jimmy, Teresa Jackson and her husband, Robert; three sisters in law, Sandy Toy, Alma Craig and Rita Vanlandingham; one brother in law, Lowell Craig and his wife, Trish; five grandchildren, Amber Martin (Lonnie), Tyler Richards and his wife, Felicia, Kylia Richards, Taylor Craig and Lauren Craig; seven great grandchildren, Brandon Shively, Nicholas Shively, Maddy Purvis, Briley Richards, Emmalyn Richards, Harper Richards and Taelyn Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Omer Stanley Toy and one brother in law, Carroll Vanlandingham.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Richardson Funeral Home with Brother Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery. 

Active Pallbearers will be Brandon  Shively, Nicholas Shively, Tyler Richards, Taylor Craig, Lonnie Whitt, Jimmy Craig, Jeff Toy and Mike Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Robinson, Lowell Craig, Johnny Richards, Greg Lykins and Kacie Gillespie.
