Levi Z. Lykins

Levi Z. Lykins, age 39, of Owingsville, passed away on July 2 at St. Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. He was born on August 22, 1986 in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Edgar Lykins and Helen Elam. Levi was a truck driver for Total Auto Movers for the past eight years. 

Levi was a very lovable person, who enjoyed making others laugh. He had a fun loving personality and never met a stranger. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing video games, where he made online friends all over the world. Levi was a simple, humble man with a generous and compassionate heart. He never passed up an opportunity to help others. He would give the last of what he had if someone else needed it. Spreading the word of God and his life experiences to help bring others to the Lord was his biggest passion Levi loved his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his stepmother, Linda Lykins; one brother, Travis Lykins; four sisters, Pam Bailey, Karen Hutchinson, Tiffany Lykins, and Fontana Hobbs; one stepbrother, Kevin McGuire; one stepsister, Paula Sammet; two aunts, Carol Hanson and Juanita Patrick; one uncle, Darrel Lykins; several nieces and nephews; a special friends,  Joe Girod and Pete Girod. 

Active pallbearers will be Joe Girod, Pete Girod, Wes Whisman, Travis Lykins, Jordan Lykins, Nathan Bailey, John Bailey and Eric Frazier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Hutchinson, Rulie Hutchinson Jr., Dillon Barker, Kadin Ratliff and Brayden Hobbs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Richardson Funeral Home. 

A graveside service will follow at Lykins Family  Cemetery, with Reverend Les Ingram officiating.
