Lacy Dewayne McCarty

Lacy Dewayne McCarty, age 37, of Owingsville, passed away on March 30. He was born on October 3, 1986 to Larry McCarty and the late Annette Mitchell. 

Lacy enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and camping. He had a big heart and loved his family. Lacy will forever be missed by those who loved him. 

He is survived by his father, Larry McCarty; his brothers, David Wilson (Monica) and Austin McCarty ( Hannah); the love of his life, Karisa Bussell; five children, Cora Enyeart, Kayden Bussell, Aria Covey, Sarah Novalee Bussell (Novs), and Harrison Craver; his claimed brothers, Torrey Stigall (Viva) and Randy Lewis (Misty); several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette and best friend, Chris Purvis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Billy Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Hedrick Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover the cost of his services.
