Kimi Lynn Day

Kimi Lynn Day, age 18, of Owingsville, passed away on April 28, 2020. She was born on April 10, 2002 in Lexington, Kentucky. Kimi was a free spirit. She loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She was sassy, independent and strong willed. You always knew what she was thinking! She loved animals of any kind and wanted to rescue every stray she came across. Being outdoors, riding four wheelers, and fishing were some things she enjoyed. She loved to ride horses and care for them. Kimi always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was a kind hearted person that was always willing to help others. Kimi was very loved by so many. She was a beloved daughter, a great little sister, a fun loving aunt and a friend to so many. She will be forever young and so missed by those that are left behind. May we always keep her memory alive by remembering all the things about her and she will live on forever in the hearts of those that love her. 

She is survived by her mother, Felicia Purvis Black (Stanley Bayne);  her dad, Blake Collett; one brother, Justin Hutson (Samantha Roberts); two aunts, Shannon Purvis and Melissa Kelly; grandmother, Opal Purvis; grandparents, Roy and Donna Collett; niece, Nevaeh Hutson;  her boyfriend, Jesse Curtis; A special friend, Shleby Tubbs; several cousins and a host of friends also survive. 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Purvis. 

Private Services will be held at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Reverend Jim Crouch will be officiating.
