Keith Carmichael, age 66 of Owingsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 25. He was born on December 19, 1955 in Montgomery County to the late Carl Carmichael and Hazel Conkwright Carmichael. Keith was a Journeyman tool maker and retired from KDMK after 15 years. He enjoyed crappie fishing and hunting. Keith also was a bee keeper, loved to play music and enjoyed golfing. He had a fun personality and liked to give others a hard time. Family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them. He adored his grandchildren. Keith loved his fur baby, Stella and taking her for walks. He was a kind man with a big heart and always willing to help others. Keith will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Carmichael; one son, Jesse Carmichael of Owingsville; one daughter, Heather Wilson and her husband, Les of Danville; one step daughter, Lorri Raleigh and her husband Chris of Owingsville; one step son, Michael Staton of Owingsville; three brothers, Randy Carmichael and his wife Susan, Jerry Carmichael and his wife, Jean and David Nelson Carmichael all of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Jordan Smith of Lexington, Jayce Staton and Odessa Raleigh both of Owingsville; his fur baby, Stella
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Toy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 30 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the Richardson Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in the Kendall Springs Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Jason Carmichael, Jeff Carmichael, Jayce Staton, Taylor Staton, Josh Cantrell, Jonathan Cassdiy and Tucker Staton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Smith and Brian Brown.
