Kathy Carpenter, age 72, of Owingsville, made heaven her home on November 11 after a brief illness. She was born on October 10, 1948 in Bourbon County to the late Otis Coldiron Jr. and Dorothy Snapp Coldiron. Kathy was a school bus driver for the Bath County School System for over 40 years. She enjoyed driving and seeing all the children. She was a member of 801 House of Prayer and loved to go to church. She loved the Lord and her church family. She was a member of the Bath County Homemakers, sold Avon and loved Mary Kay. Kathy loved to paint, read books, learn new recipes and go to yard sales. Most of all she liked to help others. Kathy had a loving, caring personality and was always there to do what she could for her family and friends. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was something she treasured. Her memory will live on through the lives of those she touched. Our loss is heaven's gain.
