John "Bob" Dicken, age 69, passed away on Saturday, December 30 at St. Claire Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1954 to the late John Thomas Dicken and Lorraine Harris Dicken.
Bob was a farmer most of his life. He loved to be outdoors and was a hard worker. Hunting and fishing were two of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the VFW in Owingsville and also at Shorty's Quick Stop in Salt Lick. Bob like to make people laugh and have a good time. He loved to be with his family and his grandchildren. Being a papaw was something he was so proud of. May his family and friends always cherish the memories they have with him.
He is survived by two sons, Cody Dicken and his wife, Christian; Rob Dicken and his wife, Heather; one daughter, Samantha Dicken; four grandchildren, Raylen Dicken, Reese Dicken, Cooper Dicken and Lacey Dicken; a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held graveside at the Longview Cemetery on Saturday. January 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Johnny Baber officiating.
