John Wesley Staton

John Wesley Staton, age 47, passed away at St. Claire Hospital on Thursday. He was born on May 5, 1975 to Wes Staton and the late Sarah Thomas Staton. John worked at Wells Fargo as an Information Technical Specialist for many years. He enjoyed technology, including computers, video games and social media. His favorite TV show was True Crime.  He loved spending time with his nephews and his dog, Wicket. John will be missed by his family and friends that he leaves behind. 

He is survived by his father, Wes Staton; one sister, Kelly Kirby and her husband, Kyle; four nephews, Kaden, Cameron, Connor and Kaleb Kirby; his dog, Wicket; a host of family and friends. John was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Thomas Staton.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Gregg Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Kyle Kirby, John Barry Staton, Willie Staton, Charles Wesley Staton, Kaden Kirby and Connor Kirby.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Kirby and Kaleb Kirby.
