Jesse Day Obituary

Jesse Allen Day, age 44, passed away  Saturday, June 15. He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on July 24, 1979 to Richard and Kelia Day.

Jesse worked for many years hanging drywall and various construction jobs. He was very skilled in his work and could do anything he set his mind to. Jesse took pride in his work and wanted it to be perfect.

Jesse loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed fishing with his children and spending time with his family. Jesse had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could. He instilled many life lessons in his children that they will carry with them forever. Jesse just enjoyed living a simple life and family was most important to him. He was a friend to many. Jesse was the type of friend that if you called him needing help, he would be there no matter what. He had a fun loving personality and a laugh that made you smile. Jesse was so very proud of his children. He loved them with his whole heart and soul. They knew they could talk to him and he never judged them. He was always there to listen and provide whatever he could for them. Jesse was a loving husband, a wonderful dad, a son and a brother that will be missed dearly by those he leaves behind. His family will cherish the good memories and carry him in their hearts forever.

He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and loving wife, Crystal Day; two lovely daughters that have so many of his qualities,  Brianna Day and Makenna Day; one son, Jacob Allen Day, who is a smaller version of his dad, who was so proud to have a son to carry on his name; his parents, Richard and Kelia Day; one sister, Tanya Brown (Brian); one brother, Joe Day; three nephews, Riley Burchett, Carter Burchett and Braeden Montjoy; four nieces, Tori Crouch, Autumn Day, Amiah Valenti and Avery Valenti; three uncles, Shane Day (Carrie), Bub Day (Lynn), Tony Sargeant; four aunts, Donna Roberts (Steve), Jamie Moore, Sherry Lewis (Delbert), Mary Ann Lewis (Curren); his maternal grandmother, Barbara Moore; several cousins and friends.
