Jeremy Curd Obituary

Jeremy Brandon Curd, 48, passed away at his home in Olympia Monday, May 29.  Jeremy was born June 7, 1975, On Misawa AB Japan to the late Billy J Curd USAF (retired) and MaryAnne Williams Curd.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Marissa Renee Pettit (Wayne) of Vanceburg. Also surviving are many aunts and uncles: Jackie Curd of Mt. Sterling, Fred and Charlotte Williams of Olympia, John T and Lee Ann Ramey of Owingsville, Dorothy and Danny Manning of Owingsville, Katheryn Jones of Owingsville, Betty Jackson of Winchester, Ed Ramey of Oak Ridge TN, and many cousins 

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy J Curd; His grandparents Charles (Jack) Curd and Mary Conkright Curd; Glen (T) Ramey and Melissa Vanover Ramey; three aunts, Linda Farmer, of Carlisle; Carolyn Curd of Mt. Sterling; Teresa P Ramey of Olympia.

Jeremy graduated from Bath County High School and attended Whitney M Young Job corps center in Bullitt  County. He helped care for his father when he became disabled in 2001 from an automobile accident until his death in 2020. He was currently caring for his mother and helping his uncle and aunt finish their house. He was a kind and gentle man who was always willing to help those around him. Jeremy was an avid reader and in his spare time he enjoyed writing sci-fi and anime. His humor and smart wit will be missed.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
