Jeffery Karl Vickers, 65 years old, passed away May 7th at his home in Salt Lick, KY.
Jeff was born on June 4, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio. He was the son of James Vernon and Nina Moore Vickers, who precede him in death. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister.
Jeff retired from CSX Railroad. He enjoyed riding in his Jeep and going four-wheeling.
He is survived by his sisters, Judy K. Waara of Redford, Michigan and Janet K. Ephraim (Eric) of Las Vegas, Nevada; his nephews, Greg A. Waara (Tina) of Garden City, Michigan; Bradley Ephraim (Belle) of Las Vegas, Nevada; Melissa Ginsberg (David) of Las Vegas, Nevada; his great niece, Isabella Mali Ephraim of Las Vegas, Nevada, who he lovingly called “Paddleboat”; a host of cousins and friends.
Jeff will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio with his parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Chris Bailey officiating.
