Mr. James "Jimmy" Cline age 73, of Salt Lick, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He was born in Bath County to the late Charles and Ethel Warren Cline. Jimmy was a life long farmer and owner of Jimmy's car lot. He also had served as a Bath County Road Commissioner for three terms. He was a member of the Hedrick Community Church for many years and was employed by the Eastern Kentucky Tobacco Warehouse for twenty years. Jimmy loved his family, especially his grandchildren, Jaxon and Macy.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Anna Heath Cline; one son, Jamie Cline and wife Marcie. Four brothers; Bobby Cline, Terry Cline (Faye), Jerry Cline (Diane) Robin Cline (Lois) three sisters; Leona "Sissy" Swartz, Nellie Anderson and Nancy Jo Williams (Jimmy.) He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Jaxon and Macy Cline and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Johnny and Tommy Cline as well as two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1p.m. at the Hedrick Community Church with the Reverend Randall Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Owingsville Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the church after 11a.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021.
Visitation will be held 5-8p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Richardson Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers: David Oakley, Mike Ginter, Randy Cline, Phillip Cline, Josh Cline, Jaxon Cline, Jimmy Neal Robinson and Millard Petitt.
Honorary pallbearers are: Ronnie Robinson, Deweese Copher, Lowell Craig and Wayne Ferrell.
